You will be accountable for leading Continuous Improvement activities to meet a range of KPI targets on a number of lines within the Factory, you will need to be a logical thinker who is well structured and organised and competent in handling data, you will need to be an effective communicator who can positively engage with individuals to ensure the success of CI activities
Responsibilities and Tasks Include:
Analysing data and updating models to track performance, identifying losses and leading Loss reduction teams to improve overall equipment efficiency.
Creation of new standards to improve performance, including identifying new autonomous maintenance tasks, improving operating procedures and updating line standard settings and systems.
Leading Factory Performance meetings to review KPI’s and losses and to ensure line standards and systems are maintained, taking actions to limit deviations and identifying appropriate daily actions.
Working with the shift management teams to develop operator capability and deliver training where new standards and processes are introduced
The role is ideally suited to individuals with a background as either a process /electrical / mechanical engineer or with experience within lean manufacturing, however specific experience within the food industry and lean manufacturing is not a pre-requisite as full training and coaching will be provided for the right individual.
